Last week I went on vacation with my family up north. We were gone from July 5-9th (actually we got back home the afternoon of the 9th). We stayed at a campground in St. Ignace from the 5th-7th. The campground was pretty nice, it was right on Lake Huron which was cool. We went up to Sault St. Marie and seen the Soo Locks. They were pretty interesting. There were a few ships that came in while we were there. Then we went to Mackinaw City and just looked around for awhile. We didn’t go to Mackinaw Island this time but we have in the past. Then on the 8th we went to the Walter & May Ruether Learning Center UAW, Black Lake, MI. That was pretty cool too. There were deer all over the place, they would just stand right in the middle of the street. It was just really nice up there. The architecture was from a guy that modeled Frank Lloyd Wright and the resort was in the middle of the woods. It was just nice. Here are some pics. Then we came back on Monday the 9th and got home in the afternoon. Pretty nice week.
